Polymer Lined Pipe Technology

We at iDG10 are working to promote the use of polymer lined systems in pipelines for the oil and gas, water, and chemical industries, among other uses. Polymer lines and composite pipes are being used as an alternative to new lined steel pipes and repairing old pipelines as cost-cutting efforts and preventive maintenance become more important in the business.

Our main mission is to offer cheaper alternative to the CRA, corrosion inhibition practices at minimal costs to the operators.


Metallic pipe is sturdy and easy to work with. But, when transporting even a weak corrosive fluid - that can eat away the metal from inside out - the pipeline's lifespan can be shortened or impaired. While thermoplastic pipes are chemically resistant, they do not have the physical strength of metal pipes.

Pipeline spills, exposure, and failures due to material loss caused by corrosion elements such as H2S, CO2, and other corrosive products present in the fluid being transported are a major concern within the pipeline industry.

Constant efforts are being made to mitigate and eliminate the risk of spills, exposure, and failures due to material loss caused by corrosion elements present in the fluid being transported during their service lifetime. When compared to alternative corrosion mitigation solutions, polymer lined pipe combines the best of both pipes into one. They provide long-term benefits to pipeline owners at lower operating costs and larger economic rewards.
